Also, yes I'm LOVING the (JM Reynaud Bliss Jubilee) speakers. They're so much more than I expected and feel I've finally (after 9yrs) landed on a forever speaker for the office and possibly small rooms at home. If ever I'm in a position to get a larger model I will do so without hesitation. While I as at first disappointed sending back the gray anthracite I ordered, these wood veneer versions have grown on me. I like the classy look.
The textures and tones these convey is out of this world. It's odd because they capture what I like about resonant enclosure speakers like Harbeth, but aren't resonant at all. I believe they're pulling off some serious magic here. Thanks! Steven.

Chris,
Great Price. Chris was helpful with his knowledge in guiding me to the perfect setup for my room.
Very Happy with my Purchase.
Thanks,
Keith

Hi Chris – I am sure that most people that write you are commenting on the gear they purchased – “I love this or that amp, etc.” – but I have learned over the years in this hobby that while equipment is important, capable advise; attention to the details of isolation/vibration control, grounding, power protection; always being available to think through what the customer is trying to accomplish; and trying to work through assembling a system that works together synergistically are extremely important. Yes, you have hooked me up with great electronics (the Zesto Leto and Andros pre-amps); speakers (the Lawrence Audio Cellos); power protection (Torus AVR20 isolation transformer); vibration control (Symposium Ultra platform) but more importantly you have been there to discuss my goals, pulled me off the ledge and suggest great solutions/possibilities. I would urge anyone considering improving their system to RUN, do not walk, to East End Hi Fi – Chris is the greatest – I talk with him every couple of weeks (tube rolling, cartridges, you-name-it) and always come out better for it – Thanks Chris, appreciate all your efforts.

Hi Chris,
First I want to let you know what an absolute pleasure it was to spend time with you Monday. You are a fountain of knowledge and a friendly person to talk with. You've given me substantial food for thought and I have been researching lots. Torus especially, but off on google tangents of all kinds. I am giving hard listening to my speakers and trying to decide what's next. I liked the (Harbeth) P3's quite a bit.
I also liked your Lawrence Cello's and that has veered me off course just a little from my bookshelf/sub approach, so now playing with idea of floorstanders as a possibility. I will see what comes of all this, but mainly wanted to get back to you with how happy I was to meet and talk with you.I feel you would be a great person to get with as you could help with future decisions. As always, money is an object I need to consider in the big picture.
I'll probably try and listen to a few more speaker options as I go but for now the Harbeth's are on short/short list. So thank you for a great afternoon and I hope to talk with you again in near future.

Hi Chris,
I think the sound is phenomenal. The music seems to flow more naturally than with the Cary (DMS-500 Music Server), the imaging is great within a wide soundstage and the bandwidth seems wider, with fuller bass and much more sparkle in the treble.
I wonder if the increased bandwidth might be the isolation, because I really noticed it after installing the Symposium (Svelte Shelf & RollerBlock Series 2) stuff, but also the unit has close to 100 hours on it now so that must be helping.
Of course the main reason I changed was the software (Aurender Conductor iPad App), and that was absolutely the right decision. The difference in usability between the two (Cary DMS-500 & The Aurender Conductor App) is like night and day. The Aurender app is super fast, easy to use and reliable. It just does what I expect every time and that means I can sit comfortably and listen to music much more.
I am absolutely delighted with the A10.

Chris -
The (Peachtree) Nova300 is a very solid piece of equipment, and for my use (TV, HTPC, Oppo) it performs very well.
For the price, the Nova is a very good value and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an integrated in that price range. To be fair, (my previous set-up) the VAC Sigma SE Integrated costs 4x as much as the Nova.
I am very happy with the Nova in the study.
Regards, and Happy New Year...........

Chris -
Received the Nova this afternoon as you promised - thanks so much for the extra effort that you made to get it here.
Beautiful finish, very nice.
Unhooked the VAC Renaissance MKII Pre and the McIntosh MC225, and ran some ripped flac files from the HTPC to the Nova via digital coax.
First impressions: The Nova DAC is very smooth and refined. Fresh out of the box, and not broken in, I would say that it is easily 90% of the VAC/MAC setup, if not its equal. Being able to hook everything up to the Nova, without the worry of tubes is going to be nice. I can leave this running, leave the house, without worry.
Alison Kraus, Dire Straits, Jack Johnson, J.J. Cale, Christy Baron, Daniel Lanois, Diana Krall, Eva Cassidy, Kat Edmonson, Mary Chapin Carpenter all sounded magnificent thru the Nova and the Harbeth's. I also hooked up the little Neat Iotas, and they were very good also, though I prefer the Harbeth P3ESR for the refinement.
I will keep you posted after more break in, but for now, I am very pleased.
Thanks again for literally going the extra mile.
Scott

Hi Chris -
Cranked up the (JM Reynaud) Offrandes this afternoon, and.............wow
There is just more there, there.
If they sound better 200 hours down the road, I am very impressed.

Thanks Chris, can't wait for the tubes to get here, so happy with the EAR, and as ALWAYS thanks AGAIN for your all your help, you have no idea what that means to me👍 ✌

I set out on a search for some KEF R700s in hopes I could score a deal. Long story short I found East End Hifi and little did I know, I was in a for a huge treat. I made initial contact with Chris Russo to see what he would be able to do for me. Suffice it to say, I got exactly what I needed/wanted and far more. His communication and great attitude were an utmost delight and he absolutely went the extra mile to provide tremendous customer care. After settling on the R700 pair in cherry, I realized I did not need to look any further from where I can obtain the matching center (R600c). I was floored by the deal Chris was able to provide me. Shipping was very prompt, much quicker than I had expected and everything had arrived in perfect order, albeit the R700 pair arrived without their grills. I was able to get in touch with Chris right away and he had just forgotten to package them; needless to say he remedied the oversight promptly. Bottom line, if you are looking for a great customer service experience and someone who will work with you in getting you the best possible deal, I would say look no further than East End Hifi and you will thank yourself in the end.
Thank you Chris!
Cheers from a most satisfied customer.

It is a beautiful piece of gear (EAR 868PL Preamp), and I am sure it will be a keeper for some time. I cannot thank you enough. You always give me your time and opinions and you will never know how much that is appreciated, thanks Chris Russo!

Hi Chris,
I was going to write you tomorrow. Yes I got them (Monitor Audio Gold 100 Speakers) Friday.
And they are magnificent; they look very cool and solid the way you described them exactly .
Thanks a lot for your help.
I like your advice, and for sure will recommend you.

Chris,
It’s been well over 200 hours, Chris, and to be honest I don’t think the lengthy “break in” is even necessary. By 50 hours (at least for the electronics) I was on the mark. The speakers might have needed a bit more, especially at higher volumes. No matter what I throw at the system (Rogue Sphinx, Harbeth P3ESRse, Music Hall MMF 51.se with Mojo cartridge), I’m awed!! The TT is especially surprising as it keeps me from listening to CD’s.
Jazz, orchestral (even Beethoven’s 7th and 9th), rock (Sting, Stones, Pink Floyd), world, …whatever…. sounds phenomenal!!
Damn you, Chris, when am I supposed to get some sleep??
Seriously…, thanks for all the great advice, including about the Sound Anchor stands.

Chris,
"Well the (Rogue Cronus Magnum II) Magnum arrived save and sound. Hooked it up and played it."
"It’s beautiful. Love how it sounds even at low volume. It's heavy!"
Pete

Chris,
"The (Rogue) Sphinx arrived this afternoon. Its performance, to my ears, is neutral. I t doesn't try to show itself in any way - It just solidly & confidently presents the music without ego or presence."
"What a total delight to hear music presented this way! "
Brad

Chris,
"I’m sitting here listening to Erik Satie, played by Aldo Ciccolino. It sounds as if I’ve invited him into my home! Unbelievable!!!!!
I’ve NEVER heard the piano sound this way! ...about 35hrs thus far".
(referring to Harbeth P3ESR's, Rogue Sphinx & Music Hall MMF-5.1SE)
Mike

Hi Chris,
"If you remember, my integrated (Cronus Magnum) arrived from Rogue the day before we left for MA. Put about 8 hrs. into it and the speakers before leaving. The stands (Sound Anchor Single Post) arrived on the day of our return. They are perfect for the Harbeths (P3ESR's) (guess they should be as they were custom made…). By now, I must have about 25 hours into the system (much more on the CD player) and it all sounds great. I’ve already detected an improvement in the sound of the speakers, especially in the mid range and lower base regions. I’ve only got about 5 hours on the cartridge but it is sounding quite sweet as well. I’ve been listening to everything from cabaret singers with small group Jazz, to Miles and Coltrane, to Beethoven Symphonies and Horowitz on piano, and even played through Dark Side of the moon. I am totally enjoying my purchase!!"
Mike

Wow! I received the Rogue Pharaoh about a week ago and have had it playing ever since. It sounds amazing, but I'm not surprised since it's coming from Rogue. It's the best one box solution I've ever heard at anywhere near the price. Thanks again Chris for the great insight regarding all things audio. It was a pleasure doing business with you!
Best- Scott E.

Chris
Received the Rogue CM yesterday and have been listening all day hooked up to the Boxer S1 and input from the Sony Hap - HiRez player.
Holy Crap! This combination is spectacular no matter what music you play. The S1s sound much better than they did powered by the BelCanto.
I am so impressed with this setup. For your customers looking to upgrade this combo would make them want to beg for you to take their money to get sound like this.
Thank you for a spectacular transaction. I would recommend you to everyone looking for a high quality, high integrity seller of audiophile equipment.
You are a very special person in this field.
Thanks for the experience and recommendations!
